Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

We leverage Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for many projects at Willowview. MBSE is implemented using Systems Modeling Language (SysML) which is a set of diagrams that can be used to communicate the structure, behavior, parametrics, and requirements of a decision by which the rest of the system is graded.

With this holistic decision model, we can improve communication and coordination between groups and automatically generate documents to easily integrate with existing decision planning processes.

One example of our impact with MBSE is Executive Omniscience: the ability of leadership teams to engage key performance aspects of their entire operation, from one pane of glass, and make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and productive.

Having data is important but understanding that data is essential.. When companies collect data in various streams, there are an infinite number of ways to interpret that information. Decision makers want a quick way to consume relevant data. Willowview creates visual representations of complex data that cut through potential confusion and presents findings in a way that promotes common understanding between people of all skillsets and backgrounds.

Machine Learning in Food Processing

Willowview is proud to be increasing food safety while simultaneously reducing food waste. Through our projects, we have curated solutions to identify contaminants or bones, determine ideal cut locations for premium streak trimming, and more.

Food Processing Equipment Design

Designing food processing equipment poses a unique set of rules and challenges. The materials required and design features aim to eliminate the potential for physical contaminants as well as harmful bacteria. Willowview works to design this equipment to last many years, running all day every day while minimizing down-time for maintenance.
